The NSW Government's update to the Energy Security Safeguard adds new activity types and expands eligibility across ESS and PDRS

From July 1, multi-split air conditioners are eligible under both the ESS and PDRS schemes for residential and small business jobs.

Here's what it means for installers

From 1 July 2026, all Certificates of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEWs) in NSW must be submitted through the eCert portal
