On the 30th September 2020, the Essential Services Commission issued further advice on COVID-19 requirements under the VEU program. We will continue to engage the ESC to be consistent and reasonable in their VEEC eligibility rulings, irrespective of when they were completed.

Given all the current variables and unknowns surrounding business in 2020, one thing which is critical to any business is to know you are getting the best deal from your partners. Green Energy Trading and National Carbon Bank of Australia remain fully open for business, either in office or remotely as their location allows. There will be some restrictions to site visits and inspections in Victoria, and these will continue to be managed with you personally by our Team Members.

NCBA has successfully obtained a second active ‘Project’ with the Clean Energy Regulator (CER), which provides NCBA with the ability to claim energy savings at various sites across Australia.

With the end of the financial year approaching, please remember that ESCs and VEECs for projects that occurred in the 2019 Calendar Year (i.e. 2019 vintage) must be uploaded and registered by 30 June 2020 - the vintage deadline.
