VEET to survive?

Potentially great news for businesses in Victoria committed to energy savings. The Napthine Government has failed to pass their bill to reduce the immediate target and repeal the legislation as was intended, for the VEET scheme. This means the current target defaults back to 5.4m CO2 certificates, and there is room for supply to continue. If labor win the State election in November, the scheme is likely to be continued without further challenge.
